I love handing out candy on Halloween. Watching all of the little “Barbies” and “Supermans” and “M&M’s” come up in their costumes just cracks me up.
I recently learned that Halloween has Irish origins. I’m not kidding.
It comes from a Celtic festival for the dead called “Samhain.” They believed that ghosts of the dead roamed the Earth so they would leave “treats” out for them in case they paid a visit. In later years, people would dance around in costumes in exchange for small treats which would eventually turn into Halloween as we know it. Wild, huh?
I won’t make you dance around, but I do have a very special surprise treat for you! When you call 210-912-0782 or go to www.roberttreborphotography.com before Wednesday, October 24th, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of my first annual, Photo Costume Contest!. Won’t it be great to be able to an amazing photo of your costumed without the struggle of the boring cell-photo shot on Halloween? (Spoiler alert: the answer is yes!)
This is how it works: On the 27th I’ll have a really quick mini-session with your costumed kiddo or even family; then I’ll take it into photoshop and custom create a background that goes with your theme!
Lastly, we’ll offer it up to your social community to like and share earning points to see who wins in a few different categories; face it, you’ll win because you are showing off your favorite little person!
Ok, bottom line, all this for just $25 gives you the session, the artistry, and a digital! The winners get a free, print of their images! I love Halloween so this is all about the fun!
But hurry, because when the clock strikes midnight on October 25th, The Halloween sessions will be over and so will this deal.
Have a great rest of the week,
